One of the most critical factors in the success of an email marketing campaign is the contacts who are mailed. Instinctively you may want to tell the world about your products and services (they're great!) but not everyone wants to know and both a strength and weakness of email marketing is the ease with which you can enter people's personal space. Ideally you want to send relevant information by email to contacts who have specifically opted in to receive this information.

Generally we've found that the very best contacts for your campaigns are those you have built up in-house as your in-house list is specifically geared towards your area of operation. Before you consider using outside lists, you should consider appending email addresses (see our list building service) to the prospect data you have wherever possible - response rates from in-house lists can be twice as high as bought in data.

However this is not always possible and where a new list is required we can help to source quality opt-in lists based on specific criteria to ensure as tight targeting as possible.
